Medical Social Worker

Provides social work services including psychosocial assessments, brief patient/family counseling, support, resources & education intervention to meet the standards of the patient/family & ensure continuity of care. Oregon LMSW (Masters-level Social Worker) or CSWA (Clinical Social Work Associate) licensure required. Oregon LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) preferred. Experience as a social worker in a hospital or medical setting preferred. This position requires the use of the employee’s personal automobile. Program Director, Ophelia’s Place, in Lane County

Program Director for Ophelia’s Place, a non-profit, proactive organization serving adolescent girls in Lane County. Program Manager for Forensic Residential Treatment Facility in SE Portland

This position is located in a State Licensed Residential Facility and oversees all operations of the program, including program services and programming, employee supervision, program design and development, documentation, community relations, and interfacing with other agencies. Ensures quality of service and efficient interface of Department of Community Justice activities with representatives of the County, State, and other funding sources, and coordination of services within the agency as a whole. This position also works with individuals coming from the Department of Community Justice system, attending for substance abuse, and dual diagnosis treatment.
