The Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) position is a behavioral health provider who operates in a
consultative role within the Lincoln Community Health Center (primary care) and works to support a
smooth interface between primary care and specialty services. The employee provides
recommendations regarding behavioral interventions to the referring primary care clinician and
conducts brief interventions with referred patients on behalf of the referring clinician.

A Master’s degree and licensure as a Social Worker in the state of Oregon is required. Experience postlicensure
in behavioral health counseling and brief short-term therapy strategies is also required.

Behavioral Health Social Worker needed to join our dedicated Community Health Services team, primarily working within the First Steps Program of Washington State, serving maternal and infant clients with home or office visits.

This position provides brief, culturally relevant counseling interventions to clients on areas identified in the assessment; educates clients regarding physical and mental health issues to support informed treatment choices for themselves or family members; and provides information and referrals to assist clients in accessing community resources for basic needs, health care, and social services. This role is vital in helping clients achieve self-sufficiency and guidance in raising children. The position requires flexibility, strong assessment skills, strong intervention skills, and the ability to blend social work practice with overall functioning of the integrated health care team.

CHS is a multidisciplinary team composed of social workers, community health workers, and nurses who seek to provide health services in the community and meet families where they are. This position offers you the opportunity to work as part of an integrated team as well as to make decisions and work independently in your profession. Typical work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Eight paid holidays per year. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are desirable but not required.

Qualifications
• Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or relevant field;
• Experience:. Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team in a health care or medical setting is preferred, experience in a mental health or social service setting acceptable. Understanding of the psychological principals in learning and their application to treatment stages. Understanding of advanced evaluative techniques of personality, academic, behavior and cognitive domains.
• Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Any one of the following licenses are acceptable for this position: Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA), Licensed Social Worker Associate Advanced (LSWAA), Licensed Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical (LSWAIC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA),or Certified Counselor (CL); Certified Social Worker Associate(CSWA) or Licensed Master’s Social Worker with the Oregon State current Washington State or Oregon state driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage; and a current First Aid/CPR card, or obtained within 45 days of hire.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required: Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to form and sustain effective relationships with clients, team members and community providers; understanding of federal, state and county regulations as they pertain to social services; ability to manage time, resources and client caseload; knowledge of human growth and development, throughout the lifespan which can be applied to a psychosocial assessment and intervention methods;

Enigma Health is currently looking for therapists to provide cognitive-behavioral therapy for patients with health anxiety. This is a part-time position with some scheduling flexibility.

Enigma Health provides a specialized, evidence-based tele-therapy treatment. Work can be conducted from your location. Bimonthly consultations with fellow psychologists and social workers are required.

Education

·    Master’s degree (M.S.W., M.S., M.A.)

·    Current license (LCSW, LPC) in Oregon.  Washington license a bonus.

Additional Requirements:

·    Experience providing CBT treatments.
