Behavioral Health Consultant

Behavioral Health Consultant - Newport, Oregon

The Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) position is a behavioral health provider who operates in a
consultative role within the Lincoln Community Health Center (primary care) and works to support a
smooth interface between primary care and specialty services. The employee provides
recommendations regarding behavioral interventions to the referring primary care clinician and
conducts brief interventions with referred patients on behalf of the referring clinician.

A Master’s degree and licensure as a Social Worker in the state of Oregon is required. Experience postlicensure
in behavioral health counseling and brief short-term therapy strategies is also required.

Enigma Health provides a specialized, evidence-based tele-therapy treatment. Work can be conducted from your location. Bimonthly consultations with fellow psychologists and social workers are required.

Education

·    Master’s degree (M.S.W., M.S., M.A.)

Additional Requirements:

The Rogue Valley Council of Governments is looking for a Senior and Disability Services Mental Health Services Coordinator to engage with community partners to strengthen services for older adults and people with disabilities in Jackson County. This will be accomplished through effective collaboration with community partners in the fields of geriatrics, disability, mental health, and addiction services.

Full-time, $3,672.41 - $4,276.54 per month. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of four years of experience in mental health or aging/disabilities with emphasis on geriatric/older adult care.
