Behavioral Health Consultant

Behavioral Health Consultant - Newport, Oregon

The Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) position is a behavioral health provider who operates in a
consultative role within the Lincoln Community Health Center (primary care) and works to support a
smooth interface between primary care and specialty services. The employee provides
recommendations regarding behavioral interventions to the referring primary care clinician and
conducts brief interventions with referred patients on behalf of the referring clinician.

A Master’s degree and licensure as a Social Worker in the state of Oregon is required. Experience postlicensure
in behavioral health counseling and brief short-term therapy strategies is also required.

CLINICAL COUNSELOR 4 OR 5

CLINICAL COUNSELOR 4 OR 5 – Lincoln City, Oregon

Performs professional behavioral health services through individual and group psychotherapy and
counseling of clients.

Clinical Counselor 4: A Master’s degree specializing in clinical social work, psychology or a related field is
required. Bilingual and/or bicultural competencies for Latino population are preferred. Insurable driving
record and a valid Oregon driver’s license within 30 days of appointment is required.

Clinical Counselor 5: CC4 qualifications, plus current Oregon licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) and three
years extensive experience is required. Additional training and/or certification in the addictions field
(CADC) is preferred.

HS Specialist II

Yamhill County Adult Behavioral Health Program

FT position for MSW to provide integrated behavioral health services to adults, using training and experience to serve individuals with co-occurring mental health conditions. Duties: assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and direct services. Agency utilizes collaborative concurrent documentation in an EMR System. CADC preferred but not required; the expectation will be for the individual hired to be working towards a minimum of 60 hours of substance abuse training. Spanish language fluency preferred, but not required.

The person in this position will provide mental health or Applied Behavior Analysis services as determined in the treatment or care plan of the client. This person may provide counseling or therapy services either independently or as part of a clinical team. Mental Health Worker III may participate in the treatment or care plan for clients in outpatient services, placement services, Functional Family Therapy or Applied Behavior Analysis services. Mental Health Worker IV may also be the specialized treatment provider in a multiple provider plan.

Both positions are located at the Woodland Park Outpatient Clinic in NE Portland. These positions will be working for the Older Adult program working with a population with medically complex issues.
