Remembering Astrid Schlaps
Portland State University faculty, and the family, friends, and former students of our beloved Astrid Schlaps have planned a gathering to honor and remember Astrid on:
Sunday, October 31
1-3pm
in Hoffman Hall,
1833 SW Eleventh Avenue
on the PSU campus
There will be opportunities to remember Astrid through donations to the Astrid Schlaps Scholarship Fund at PSU Foundation and to the PSU Walk of the Heroines, where her name is etched along with the names of other beloved heroic women. The scholarship will support MSW students intending on working in the areas of abuse and trauma. Donations may be sent to the PSU Foundation, PO Box 243, Portland, OR 97207. Details will be available at the memorial.
